  Art. 1 - General Provisions

1.1 - Scope

These Terms and Conditions of Sale contractually bind our publishing house and its customers for any purchase made with GNOMUS Publishing. If these Terms and Conditions of Sale are modified, the version applicable to your order will be those in effect at the time of its validation.

1.2 - In case of dispute

These Terms and Conditions of Sale and all clauses herein are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute regarding the interpretation or execution of these Terms and Conditions of Sale, we prioritize resolution through an amicable agreement between the parties. If an amicable agreement cannot be reached, disputes will be submitted to the competent courts.

  Art. 2 - Orders

Orders can be placed online at: https://www.gnomus.net.

  Art. 3 - Product Availability

The availability of our books is valid throughout their online display period, subject to available stock (except as otherwise stated below).

In case of unavailability of our books or a delay in their delivery, our customers will be notified by email within 30 days. If your payment has already been processed, you can choose to cancel your order (which will be fully refunded) or accept an extension of the delivery time.

Important: your response must be sent by email within 30 days. If, after thirty days, we have not received any response from you:

• in case of a delivery delay, the product will be delivered within the new delivery time;

• in case of product unavailability and if the payment has already been made, your order will be refunded. This refund will be made directly to the bank account used at the time of purchase. In case of complications, a check will be issued to the address specified during the order.

For crowdfunding campaigns (i.e., the packs offered in the « Goodies Galore » section), there are two possible scenarios:

If the Crowdfunding goal is achieved, the production of the product will begin, and the rewards will be shipped and delivered upon completion. The book's release date is specified on the website.

If, by the end of the defined period for Crowdfunding, the goal is not reached, GNOMUS Publishing will refund all users who contributed by canceling the payment via credit card.

  Art. 4 - Prices and Payment Terms

4.1 - Prices

The prices of our editions are those specified on our website (www.gnomus.net). These prices are quoted in euros, all taxes included, subject to error. GNOMUS Publishing reserves the right to modify the prices of their books at any time. The price to be paid for an order is the one in effect at the time of its validation. Books are sold in compliance with applicable provisions, particularly the Lang Law on the single price of books. For delivery outside mainland France, any customs duties or local taxes are the customer's responsibility.

4.2 - Shipping Costs

Our shipping costs are determined by the weight of the package to be shipped, the possible use of very specific packaging, and the particular attention that certain products may require, such as the need for insurance coverage.

4.3 - Payment Terms

GNOMUS Publishing offers you the option to pay for your order by credit card through Stripe, which guarantees total payment security (secured entry by SSL encryption). To do so, please fill in the form provided for this purpose, specifying your details and the data on your card (card number, validation code, and expiration date).

4.4. Delivery

Your orders will be delivered to the address you specify. For any delivery address in mainland France, your package will arrive no later than 60 days from the date of your order or the publication date in the case of a pre-sale. For any delivery address in Europe, your package will arrive no later than 60 days from the date of your order or the publication date in the case of a pre-sale. For any other delivery address, your package will arrive no later than 60 days from the date of your order or the publication date in the case of a pre-sale. In case of loss, damage, or theft of an order during shipping, GNOMUS Publishing cannot be held responsible.

If the delivery address you provided is not valid and results in the return of the package due to non-receipt at the indicated address, the re-shipment costs will be at your expense.

4.5 Right of Withdrawal

If your order does not bring you complete satisfaction, it is possible to return it within 14 days. In the case of returning a book, only the book will be refunded, provided it is not damaged, and not the return or shipping costs. Your refund will be made directly to the bank account used at the time of purchase.

  Art. 5 - Claims

For any claims regarding our products, please contact us by email at: contact@gnomus.net. The order covers only the books; there shall be no claims concerning any gifts that may be attached to them.

  Art. 6 - Responsibilities

In case of technical malfunctions or information misappropriation (due to a computer failure), the responsibility of GNOMUS Publishing cannot be engaged. If any data related to the customer's order does not reach us, for any reason (connection problems, etc.) or is illegible, GNOMUS Publishing cannot be held responsible. The books we offer comply with current laws in France, and the responsibility of GNOMUS Publishing cannot be engaged if the books ordered in a foreign country do not comply with the legislation of that country.

  Art. 7 - Data Protection

The information requested from you on our website is confidential and necessary primarily to best process your requests and improve the services we offer. The processing of your personal data is carried out in accordance with the law of January 6, 1978, on data processing, files, and freedoms. You can access and rectify your personal data at any time.

  Art. 8 - Customer Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions of Sale are accepted by the customer, who, by making a purchase, acknowledges having read them and accepts them.
